Hello there

I'm new to fedora and I've installed feodra24 yesterday what do you recommend to download or to do in general after a fresh install Thx

In my oppinion this is the first steps that you should do but chesck this link for more info

  1. Do a Full System Update

    dnf update

  2. Activate RPMFusion Repo

    rpm -ivh

  3. Install GNOME Tweak Search for in in software using GUI (Graphical User Interface)

  4. Install VLC Media Player

    dnf install vlc

Install whichever programs (or their Linux equivalents) you have used in the past. I'd recommend LibreOffice (unless Fedora comes with it preinstalled, but I thought that Fedora used OpenOffice), Firefox, Google Chrome and VLC. But this is about which programs you would use. If you use the command line a lot then you might like htop (similar to Task Manager for Windows and neater than top [in my opinion]) and nethogs (similar to Glasswire, and allows you to monitor inbound and outbound traffic).

I recommend you upgrade to fedora 25!
