Hi guys,

I've been trying to set up OpenVPN on my machine for 2 days now. I've been through lot's of How-To's on the net and all of them have this as one of the final steps:

nohup openvpn --config /path/to/config/example.ovpn &

or:

sudo nohup openvpn --config client.ovpn &

The issue is, I can't locate this file anywhere on the system even after following these steps. The OpenVPN service works well:

The client file is usually distributed by whomever you are running your VPN though, for example I use Private Internet Access and I pick from the location of the VPN (for example US California.ovpn which I download from their website. What service are you trying to use?
