Why there is a special icon for Wacom Tablet in System Settings?

Isn't it quite unfair? Why is it more respected than other producers? I think that this kind of advertisement isn't right. Is it some kind of sponsorship?

More than likely it's that a) Wacom is the most well known of the tablet brands and b) Wacom has a wide number of linux drivers. This is not a case of advertising at all, it's including functionality.
