terminal correcting typos and suggesting packages for installation
Hi, I don't remember how (maybe I was running a Fedora spin like Korora/Chapeau) but I clearly remember that if typing something slightly wrong as an argument for the command 'dnf install' dnf was able to suggest me packages with similar names and most of the time the right one. It's not happening anymore, I'm on F25. Please, any suggestion? Thanks :)
EDIT: It wasn't "DNF install" that brought up the terminal suggestion.. but instead any mispelled command (and it appears to be a function of bash). So my original question was very wrong, sorry all for the confusion. See below comments for better understanding. Thanks
I don't remember ever having dnf suggest packages like that. It doesn't do it on F24.
I'll let you know when trying again Chapeau/Korora and doing further investigation
I just found out it's not dnf suggesting it but gnome terminal, or should I say bash? when I trype a command that doesn't exist it suggests me to install a similar named package! I like it.. is it because of bash?
Please update the question.
I'll do it right away, please is "terminal correcting typos and sugges-ing packages for installation" correct in your opinion? Or instead of terminal should I specify "gnome-terminal"? I'm actually not sure who's responsible for those nice suggestions :)
