How do I fix a lagging USB keyboard?

My keyboard is lagging and losing characters Does anyone know how to fix this?

  1. USB mouse works without problems.
  2. If I use a plugin keyboard, I don't have any problems.
  3. The problem varies intermittently in how much is lost.
  4. Linux xiaosan 4.8.4-200.fc24.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Oct 25 13:06:04 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
  5. Keyboard is Logitech (K270? Y-R0015?)
  6. xfce4 (relevant?)
