you can use vino and vinagre both are installed by default in FEDORA 17:

Vino is a VNC server for GNOME. It allows remote users to connect to a running GNOME session using VNC.

Vinagre is a VNC client for the GNOME desktop. With Vinagre you can have several connections open simultaneously, bookmark your servers thanks to the Favorites support, store the passwords in the GNOME keyring, and browse the network to look for VNC servers.

another alternative is use :

A TigerVNC server

The VNC system allows you to access the same desktop from a wide variety of platforms. This package includes set of utilities which make usage of TigerVNC server more user friendly. It also contains x0vncserver program which can export your active X session.

sudo yum install tigervnc-server

A TigerVNC remote display system

Virtual Network Computing (VNC) is a remote display system which allows you to view a computing 'desktop' environment not only on the machine where it is running, but from anywhere on the Internet and from a wide variety of machine architectures. This package contains a client which will allow you to connect to other desktops running a VNC server.

sudo yum install tigervnc

NOTE : tigervnc required some configuration that you can easily find in the web.
