Maybe the usb cable is bad

When I use USB to device boot my PC, The above problems log like that:

usb usb2-port1:cannot enable. maybe the usb cable is bad

I changed usb port and replace HDD, The error info is still same as above. Please help me.My laptop model is ASUS N552vw.
