Minecraft movement keys (A,S,D,W) don't work properly
Hi, I've installed fedora 24 workstation and tried to play minecraft (java version), but my movement keys a,s,d,w started behaving weird - with the default controls mapping for minecraft none of those keys doesn't move the player at all. When I try to set the controls again W is recognized as APOSTROF (true to my Hebrew layout but the selected layout is EN when I play - my first attempt was to switch the layout). No glue on my keyboard, and no similar problems when typing or using the keyboard otherwise anywhere except minecraft. BTW this laptop boots Windows 10 also, and there I can play minecraft as usual. Is there any known way to fix this?
EDIT:
java -version:
java version "1.8.0_101" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_101-b13) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.101-b13, mixed mode)
Have you reported this issue to Mojang? Which version of Java are you using?
I haven't reported this issue to Mojang, because Minecraft works properly on Windows, Mac and other Linux distributions, so the issue is not there. I didn't report it to Fedora either, because there may be an easy solution that I don't know about. That's why I posted it here.
Forgot about the version of java - it's 8u101 se. I'll edit the question.
