Disabling AMD HD7700

I have a laptop with the new AMD Fusion, with an AMD HD7700 GPU and an integrated Intel one. I want to disable the AMD one alltogether. I tried installing the catalyst driver from RPM fusion but when I do that, X doesn't start up anymore. Can anyone help?

To clarify: You want to disable the AMD graphics card and use the Intel one? Or you want to use the AMD driver instead of the Intel one?
