Running Fedora 24 Workstation.

I want to keep some files and folders on my local disk in sync with my owncloud account. This should happen automatically.

owncloud-client-nautilus is installed. The owncloud account is set-up in online accounts.

But the Files application does not provide any option for automatic syncing.

What do I do to get this synchronization working?

For automatic sync you need the owncloud client. I am using it from the official Fedora repository, and it works just fine (Fedora 24 Gnome).

The packages I have installed are: owncloud and owncloud-client.

You can also use Accounts (in Settings) to configure your owncloud account. I think this integrates a WebDAV mount (which is shown in Nautilus).

I just enabled official OwnCloud repository and installed their client:

sudo dnf install owncloud-client

Last time I tried it I haven't had much luck and now I have more trust in official sync client.
