Hey guy, I'm using Fedora 24 (upgraded from F23) and I did the regular update for my system and after last important update (kernel 4.7.3-200.fc24.x86_64), VLC stop working, when I start the app it don't show anything (no app window) but if I start vlc from a movie I just listen the audio but not video. I uninstalled and re-installed the app and always the same. how I fix this problem? I like play movies with VLC.

output url of fpaste --sysinfo from the terminal might give us some ideas as well (vlc works fine here with the same kernel and the 4.7.4 from testing )

The last vlc upgrade seems to be broken. Downgrading the package should fix your problem for now.

dnf downgrade --allowerasing vlc
