dnf doesn't update
I had some troubles with dnf after I deleted some cache from /var I know there are now new updates for fedora but dnf just doesnt want to update.
$ uname -r
4.5.7-200.fc23.x86_64
this is what happens. I probably screwed dnf up, is there a way to reinstall it or to fix it?
$ sudo dnf update

How come your question is tagged with
Fedora 24
and all you repos are Fedora23-repos?Can you elaborate on what exactly you deleted?
The system is running F23, as you can see from the response to
uname -r
in the question. Yet another reason I find tags useless.Thank you florian that sound like it would have worked. Unfortunetly I destroyed my system trying to fix it so I just made a clean install. I learned not to delete stuff in /var manually when there are methods to clean cache. I have no way of knowing if that will work but I will mark it as a corect answer since that was the command I was looking for. Plese make it an answer.
