My keyboard on single controller is the only thing recognized through USB. Thumb drives, printers, mouse, nothing shows up under "lsusb" or even registers an entry in dmesg? This happened a couple of weeks ago after an upgrade weekend where I was working on adding audio and video codecs plust updating everything else. I have since rolled those out of the system. It also does not look like it's related to the multi-seat issue because I don't even see anything register through the bus.

If I leave a USB thumb drive in one of the ports, it'll show up until I disconnect it. Then it will not show up again. This is stumping me as to why it will not auto-recognize any USB devices for hot-plugging.

The box is an HP XW8600.
