Trying to make dualboot setup of Fedora 24 with Windows 10 x64 1607. Actually it's not about dual boot but about trying to make fedora run normally.

Dell Inspiron 15 7559 Samsung M.2 sata 850 evo CPU: Core i7 6700HQ Integrated Skylake GPU Intel HD Graphics 530 Dedicated GPU Nvidia GTX 960M

UEFI enabled, Secure Boot disabled.

So, first installed Windows 10 x64 1607 as first OS 100 GB partition. ~130GB left for Fedora setup.

Fedora USB created on other fedora workstation with Fedora Media Writer.

Live USB booting normally, installation process goes normally. Choosing LVM - Create partitions automatically (then doing little space tweaks for partitions). Fedora installer normally catches existing EFI partition created by Windows

Finishing installation... trying to restart - after live-usb finishes shutdown sequence - laptop freezes with black screen. same happens when tried Shutdown from live-usb instead of reboot after repeated another installation process.

Ok after forced shutdown: I can see grub menu with all the choices. booting fedora - can see login screen - entering my credentials - booom - frozen screen with gray texture from login screen, only frozen mouse pointer on screen.

Okkkk...trying to boot into Windows, hooraaay, at least Windows works normally - rebooting...windows boots again...have never seen grub menu again...

Removed all partions. Made single boot installation of Fedora 24 ... same frozen screen after login screen.

UPDATE: After that I was waiting for Fedora 25 hopping that kernel 4.8 will have better support at least for Intel Skylake CPUs and it's integrated graphics. At least this time I can boot normally in wayland session. normal reboot shutdown still failing by default. Very first update immediately breaks OS. Gnome freezes. Reboot will never boot OS.

I'll create another topic with more detailed commands output.

Try choosing the wayland session at login. After you select your name, click the little gear icon and pick wayland. Then enter your password.

What graphics chipset does your laptop have?

I was able to get it to work with just basic nouveau, but the install it a bit annoying. Your bios settings seem fine, just make sure to run through the install process with the basic graphics mode (you can get there in the Troubleshooting menu), the install will start, but you wont have a mouse so you have to use the tab key..... to make it worse, once you hit continue in the first page about keyboards, it gets stuck for 3-5 minutes, but once you get past that its good.
