Here's the thing when I installed the new fedora 24 besides windows 8 windows wouldn't boot anymore like before. I tried to use Windows USB but no luck as soon as i select USB for main boot device it does nothing just pop up OS boot menu.. When i click on windows it says "windows failed to start"... I searched a lot of pages but no luck again. I would be really thankful if someone can help me.

Thanks in advance.

Try the program grub-customizer (which you run from a command line as root) and see if it finds the windows partition and makes a new grub boot menu with the correct entries.
