Gnome Software can't group items

asked 2016-06-28 18:25:21 -0600

I just installed of Fedora 24 (not an upgrade, clean install, updated to latest and rebooted) and when I open Gnome Software, go to installed packages, then try to add any of them to a new group it doesn't do anything besides closing the dialogue for what group to add the selected items to. No errors of any kind, no indication that it is processing anything.

I tried starting it from a terminal so I could get some output to figure out what is going on, but it forks the process and runs it in the background.

How can I diagnose what is happening so I can determine what is going wrong?

Hello, Open a terminal window and run gnome-software --verbose, get the PID and then, run gnome-system-log on the terminal. On the window open, click on "messages" on the left side and you continue use gnome-software. When Gnome Software fail, search the log respective.

Sorry for my english, I'm still learning.
