I am running a php script using rainTpl class on the local server and it throwing me an error:

directory /var/www/html/mt/tmp/ doesn 't have write permission

I tried

sudo `chmod 777-R /var/www/html`

but it did not work. Someone help me.

Update: tmp folder is not a link, is a folder from rainTpl class to save cache.

Three things;

  1. chmod -R 777 /foo
  2. If /mnt/tmp is a link, permission will be denied by selinux
  3. Try disabling selinux
