Hey,

on regular intervalls my gnome-shell/X session suddently switches to the console. I am assuming something is crashing, but when I press Alt-F2 I am back into my session, with everything working.

So it is not that bad, but annoying :-).

The moment that happens, I get this message in dmesg:

traps: gnome-shell[1426] trap int3 ip:7f2beb7eb19b sp:7fff97e96990 error:0

Ideas?

I am on fedora 24, with 64 bit and I am using the nvidia drivers.

Thanks! Nathan

Same problem. Nvidia drivers 367 and 352 are tested.

I'm sorry, i'm not speaking english!

You can rebuild gnome-shell pakage with nvidia cogl init framebuffer crush patch. https://github.com/GNOME/gnome-shell/commit/5226d8b0864fa894f180b8584e837aaf565578b2

I'm already rebuild pakage, visit korean fedora user comuinity this link and download. http://fedoralinux.or.kr/board-read.do?boardId=bbs5&boardNo=146660133280307&command=READ&page=1&categoryId=-1
