Does anyone else have trouble with Fedora version upgrades or am I just lucky? One of the (many) reasons I dumped MicroShaft and went Linux was I wanted a stable OS I could actually USE and get some productive work done without upgrading and patching all the time!

I can't upgrade to a new Fedora every 6 months! With all the hassle getting things to work, I never have time to actually USE it! I have F21 all hacked and tweaked on my Alienware A51 and it works fine! I can't install F23 or F24, it seems to be a hardware issue - maybe the box is too old. I DO have F23 on another box and it looks a little better, but I can't really see any other difference.

Maybe I'll just stay with F21 for a couple years! Question / Suggestion for the Fedora developers community: HOW ABOUT changing the release schedule to once per year instead of 6 months !?

How does everyone else feel about that? .

My suggestion for you is to use centos 7, that will give you stability.

Why did you use Fedora in the first place? Use Debian, Centos or something else if you don't want new software.
