ThinkLight on X201 turn on automatically

Weird bug here. Anyone experiencing the same? Any workarounds?

When my display on my X201 is dimmed (due to inactivity for a certain time), and I hit a button or touchpad to continue working, not only the display becomes brighter again, also the ThinkLight, which is the keyboard backlight, turns on. It's a bit annoying, and if I recall correctly this behavior started with kernel 4.5.6 (fedora 23 gnome).
