Suddenly my xfce4-panel's items got deleted, how can I reset them to the default state?

I tried:

$ rm -R ~/.config/xfce4/panel
# killed the process
$ xfce4-panel

I just installed Fedora17 and tried to use awesome as a window manager.

Solved by deleting the whole ~/.config directory, and restarting the whole XFCE environment.
