I have Fedora 23 and RHEL 7.2 installed. Fedora is updated since 20.

I have dracut timeout error during boot afer removing swap partition and resizing root on LVM drive.

I need to regenerate initramfs. but dracut --force --regenerate-all command is regenerating all old fedora kernels that I deleted ages ago. So it makes my /boot full before it regenerates current kernel.

How to make dracut regenerate only one kernel initramfs?

Running this will build initramfs for the running kernel

dracut -fv

or for non running kernels (change versions to suit)

dracut -fv /boot/initramfs-4.6.0-3.fc24.x86_64.img 4.6.0-3.fc24.x86_64
