Hi I am a new user in Fedora. I am trying to install ruby on rails on my fedora machine. I have successfully installed ruby and rails. But when i try to do the command "rake db:create" it shows the following errors.

<mysql2::error: can't="" connect="" to="" local="" mysql="" server="" through="" socket="" '="" var="" run="" mysqld="" mysqld.sock'="" (13="" "permission="" denied")><="" h1="">

Couldn't create database for {"adapter"=>"mysql2", "encoding"=>"utf8", "pool"=>5, "username"=>"root", "password"=>nil, "socket"=>"/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock", "database"=>"one_development"}, {:charset=>"utf8", :collation=>"utf8_unicode_ci"}

What should i do, can anyone please help me.

Thank You
