I downloaded fedora 23 live workstation and i made a bootable usb , done that a lot of times with other linux distos, anyway i booted and tried to install on hdd but when anacoda installer opens i get this i checked on disks utility and sdb is my live usb which i am booting from . Any workaround for this? I have my 500G hdd formatted as ext4 but i cannot get past the sdb scan.I tried using different ISOs but the problem is persistent.

How did you create the USB stick? I'd need to see /tmp/program.log from the live environment once you get this error message to be sure, but it sounds like the installer is confused rather than ignoring the USB stick.

here is program.log and anacoda.log just in case , to make the usb i tried Universal Usb isntaller , the ubuntu (14.04) build in tool (can't remember the name ) and UNetbootin, all three gave me the excact same problem.
