In Fedora 23 with KDE, the KMail Version 4.14.10 (Using KDE Development Platform 4.14.18) no Hungarian language. It's funny, and other KDE components (Kate, Dolphin) is mixed in English and Hungarian.

Why completely untranslated this application? How do I check the state of the translations?

In other thing, the KMail message Composer permanently forget the spell checker dictionary setting, but I think it's connected the problem above...

Thank you

Hi, and welcome to ask.fedoraproject.org .

As you probably know, Fedora is a distribution created, maintained, and progressed by the community, in fact its users. If there is a translation to a certain language missing, the most likely cause is that nobody did it. The developers rely on volunteers to translate into their native languages.

I would like to encourage you to contribute to Fedora and help the developers to translate applications to Hungarian. It's easy, quick, and no coding knowledge or experience is required.

For KDE Localization, go here http://i18n.kde.org/ . More can be found here. Translation Team for HU here.

Information about the Localization project of Fedora can be found here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N The actual translations happen in a tool called zanata, which can be found here, the HU language team here.

Becoming a translator is easy, and the impact you can have is huge!

A good start may be joining zanata, and the mailing lists. There is a general trans list, and of course a trans-hu listáról.

Cheers.
