How do I install and setup usbip in FC16?

How do I install and setup usbip to allow connecting to my USB camera over IP?

The project documentation seems to indicate that the software has been integrated and included in the standard kernel.

I can see the module code in the staging area of the kernel, however I am uncertain how to check if it is in the current kernel I am running (3.2.7).

The project seems to have gone dormant so the documentation looks quite outdated.

Is it possible to get this working on FC16?

It seems that driver didn't leave staging and staging drivers generally don't get enabled in Fedora because they are not of acceptable quality.
