robyduck gravatar image is not the official mirror. You should use the real mirrors instead, maybe selecting the nearest to you. You can see all mirrors of any release and arch here.

But dear Sir, it is really confusing those mirrors, I visited a couple of them ( ), typed fedora 22, I got a huge html page with so many reference where you cannt understand or know which one refers to the full dvd for fedora 22

Where did you go? here ? Click on the link that matches your CPU architecture and the release that you are looking for (e.g. x84_64 and Fedora 22), which brings you here . There, you can find a list of currently 155 active public mirrors. Just select one that you think is located in your vicinity (potentially fast). The column Category has the direct links to FTP, HTTP, and RSYNC directories. Fedora 22 is under ./releases/22/Workstation/iso/ (on any of those mirrors).

Fedora 22 Images from one of the official French mirrors through http:

(Judging from your FAS email, you are from France, so I've updated my answer to link to a French mirror.)

Those are links to one mirror. Yes, you could download it from here but it makes no sense to choose this server if you are not located in Vienna, Austria or close by. Since the download is > 1GB it is recommended choosing mirror close to your actual location from this list. Or use torrent download.

I know that @florian and I agree with you. However because he seems to still be confused about finding the actual image of the release, I thought I'd help him by giving him more direct links to at least one mirror. I wanted to give him a mirror close to his location but since he has not specified his country in his profile, I have no way of knowing which mirror would be best for him.

I am happy I was able to help. Unfortunately I don't know how you can upgrade using the CD/Image. I don't upgrade versions usually. I just make a clean install to the new version. I am sure someone else would know how you can do that, though.

Ok, this is actually a new question that is also closely related to your other question. I still recommend you using a network upgrade to ensure you get the latest packages. Quoting form the wiki: ...Upgrading by booting this image was possible until Fedora 17, and using the image for upgrades with Fedup was supported until Fedora 20. Beginning with Fedora 21, the universal DVD image is not produced; as of now, there is no media available for offline upgrades. Please use dnf to upgrade.

Try official mirror here:

For example, if you go deeper, you can find workstation iso here:
