Try installing the epson-inkjet-printer-escpr package with:

sudo yum install epson-inkjet-printer-escpr

Unplug your printer, restart fedora and plug your printer. Check if the printer was detected and the driver is present.

The Fedora Wiki has some information about how printing works in Fedora, how to diagnose problems with it, and related topics.

A virus scan normally you do not need. For your printer please contact the manufacturers homepage if he provides a driver. Unfortunately you did not tell us what printer it is.
