You can do as told in the first screen, run mcelog to translate the error in human language.

sudo mcelog --ascii
PROCESSOR 2:200F31 TIME 1329915877 SOCKET 0 API <-write your line here

and you will get the translation:

Hardware event. This is not a software error.
CPU 0 0 data cache
TIME 1329915877 Wed Feb 22 14:04:37 2012
STATUS 0 MCGSTATUS 0
CPUID Vendor AMD Family 17 Model 3
SOCKET 0 API

It seems to be a hardware related error. Check and double check:

  1. You are using a good power adapter (check if it fails with the laptop plugged, without battery...)
  2. All the fans are working
  3. Your memory doesn't have errors (memcheck)

And you can also try calling the HP support service.
