Hi all

I have a HP 19 2025 with a fresh fedora 23 install, and when I am watching a video(internet or downloaded) or listening music it freezes, the sound stops and the keyboard and mouse didn't respond.

I'm not familiarized with systemd, so if you can guide me to access the logs to provide further information I've been grateful.

Thanks in advance

Well, depending on the kind of "freeze" (is it recoverable, or do you have to reboot?), it may not log much of use, unfortunately. Try journalctl -r (the -r option will simply arrange the entries so that the latest entries appear at the top and the oldest at the bottom) and look for entries around the time of the freeze.

This sort of issue may well be a hardware failure, and whenever that's suspected, you do well to try hardware diagnostics first so that you don't waste a huge amount of time trying to fix your hardware with software modifications. Running hardware diagnostics is advisable

And on that note, I was looking to determine the availability of pre-installed hardware diagnostics tools on your HP 19 All-in-One Desktop, but I can't find any model in that line of machines which matches your "2025" value - did you type that correctly? Can you provide a link to your hardware?
