remote cups printer: The printer is not responding

I had configured my venerable HP LaserJet 2100, connected to a Raspberry Pi, for Fedora 23 with ipp / raw print queue, and it used to work fine until some weeks ago. Since last week, I always get a "Printer not responding" message. I reconfigured the printer, it was auto-detected, but I still cannot print.

Driver: HP LaserJet 2100 Foomatic/pxlmono (recommended) (grayscale, 2-sided printing) Connection: dnssd://HP%20LaserJet%202100%20Series%20%40%20raspberrypi._ipp._tcp.local/cups?uuid=fe7c507d-a39b-3a53-74b8-c2859ce75a4b Defaults: job-sheets=none, none media=iso_a4_210x297mm sides=one-sided

The printer works with any other system, including several debian stable instances, android, win7, ios.
