To Marcin: You should be able to get used to Libreoffice pretty quickly... not much of a difference.

Neither does Openoffice nor Libreoffice has to do anything with VLC media player. If you want to install VLC, you will have to enable the rpmfusion.org repositories (rpmfusion-free-updates) and install VLC from there (sudo dnf install vlc ).
