Hello there, I have a yet another problem with my Fedora 23 installation. My internet (WiFi) randomly decides to not allow to connect to any network and I have to restart my laptop. It is such a disaster that I have to use my Windows 7 to write this post. Please help!
Nvm, my internet card in my old laptop was dying so no need to help 😛
Strangely, it started to die out when Iinstalled Fedora on it.
How could your device possibly have turned off the entire Internet? 😛
What kind of WiFi adapter do you have? I had similar issues with a Broadcom card in my Lenovo laptop. I yanked it out and replaced it with a much better Intel card for 13 USD and haven’t had WiFi issues since.
Are you using a washing machine or microwave oven when signal drops out? Is the access point situated near other electronics like a TV? Do you live in a densely populated area with lots of WiFi?
It’s hard to give you advise without more details about your situation.
I can only answer for my situation. In my case it was working at the beginning for several month without any problems. And one day I did a "dnf update" where I got some kernel updates and since then I have those problems. Everything is fine at work but at home I often need to reboot several times till it works.

Please provide more information about the wifi card/ chip that you are using?
I have the same problem. My laptop has the following card: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 / AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01). Even disabling and enabling the card does not help.
