Install fedora without formatting
Note: This question was initially posted by Nashavi. I edited it to improve readability but now I am not seeing him anymore as the initial question editor. Can any Administrator clarify this?
Edit: Even if I roll back to the original post I still see my name instead of his! Please help, I do not think this is fair neither was what I wanted to do...
I am new to linux. In fact i am just about to install my first Linux OS.
I have been using my laptop for over 2 years now and I have data which I can't afford loosing and programs that cold cost me a life time trying to re install.
My HDD has 3 partitions
C: (100GB)
D: (80GB)
E: (500MB)
Both my C: and D: drives are almost full. With about 20 GB of free space on C: and 10 GB on D:
I want to install fedora but i can't afford to format any of these drives... I can clear an additional 30 GB of from my C: And D: Drives combined.
I have already created the live CD and am using it. But it is pretty slow. Thus making me want to install Fedora on to the hard drive.
But how do i do it without loosing data?
