Hello!

Last night I wiped my drive, and did a fresh install of Fedora 23. The first thing I did was a dnf update, and then I rebooted. I came back online with no problems, and went to sleep.

This morning, I downloaded EasyLife for Fedora 23, and ran the application. I had selected most of the packages to be installed, and it finished with flying colors after a few minutes. However when I tried to reboot, the system failed. Instead of taking me to the login screen, it showed me a sad face and said something like "uh-oh, there has been a system failure, please log out and try again" so I reinstalled Fedora 23 from my USB, and updated the system then rebooted, then downloaded EasyLife. This time, I only asked EasyLife to install the codec package, and the most current Nvidia driver. The program completed its job and told me everything went well. I scrolled through the terminal to look for any failures anywhere, and none were found. So I reboot again, and I get the same result, a system failure. I can select the rescue option when booting and it will allow me to interact with the system, but I'm not sure what to do. I downloaded EasyLife from the links provided on their own website, and I made sure I was using the version for Fedora 23.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A simple answer and a simple fix. I was able to follow one of the set up guides rather easily! Thank you for the advice. I was under the impression it would be rather difficult :P

Try not using EasyLife. I know that sounds trite, but installation of codecs and nvidia drivers are relatively simple processes which are well documented here. You don't need this extra point of failure.

when you boot up your system and the login screen comes up sign as root and then download easy-life then run easy-life, the choice is to run in terminal and then a pop up will tell you Cannot install RPM Fusion repository. The program will be terminated. do not click ok
and let the terminal do it thing :-) hope this works for you it is working for me :-)
