Trying to create /boot for fedora 23 partition. But got Failed to add new device local variable 'e' referenced before assignment" Does anyone know how to fix this?
Background:
I am running on pre-installed Windows 8 and trying to install fedora 23 on 133Gb de-allocated space on my hard drive via LiveUSB. I de-allocated the space originally through fedora 22 and got fedora 22 installed but had complications with booting windows afterwards. Since I did not have anymore time at the point, I just did a quick restore of the windows boot and other potentially affected OS files. The space is still shows de-allocated.
Problem:
In installation of fedora 23, when I try to manually add /boot under LVM, it comes up with a "Failed to add new device local variable 'e' referenced before assignment".I verified the iso, wiped my unallocated space, redownloaded the iso, and reinstalled the iso on the liveUSB. Also, Some bug was reported and fixed on what seemed like the same or very similar issue. (here) However, I am still getting this error. Does anyone know what is going wrong and how to fix this?
