f17 hangs on display manager [first install]

Like the title After booting up from CD, the booting sequence list follows, and f17 just hangs on "STARTED DISPLAY MANAGER" Just hangs.

Just for the sake of clearing this from the "unanswered" filter; Fedora 17 is no longer supported. Upgrade to Fedora 20 and report back if the problem persists.
