Although the Gnome Software application loads fine, attempting to install anything results in the "Installing" button quickly filling partway and then getting stuck for several minutes, eventually giving a message of "Sorry, this did not work" and "Installation of _____ failed". e.g. http://s4.postimg.org/64womiqor/Scree...

I didn't experience this problem until just today; I've been using Fedora 22 for the past several months without issues. I haven't tried to install anything for a while, however, so I'm unsure when the problem arose. It has at least existed for the past two kernel updates. In an effort to fix the problem, I upgraded to Fedora 23, but this didn't solve the issue.

I discovered this problem because all LibreOffice applications spontaneously stopped working for me in Fedora 22 as of the 4.2.7 kernel update (I think), refusing to load. I uninstalled LibreOffice Writer to reinstall and see if that fixed it, only to discover I couldn't reinstall it or install anything at all. LibreOffice is now functional in Fedora 23 (likely because it's LibreOffice 5 now), but I still don't have Writer. I can't install any alternative word processors from Gnome Software either, and as a test, I attempted to install some basic fonts - these also didn't work.

How do I fix Gnome Software so I can install stuff from it again?

Edit: Removed LibreOffice entirely and then successfully installed the whole suite through the terminal directly. However, Gnome Software itself continues to refuse installations. As LibreOffice installed successfully through the terminal, Gnome Software is almost certainly the problem here rather than an issue with the repositories or something.

I also reinstalled Gnome Software through the terminal, but that still didn't fix it. Hm.

Hi, What happens if in a terminal you try the installation? sudo dnf install gdouros-anaktoria-fonts

This successfully installed it. Gnome Software itself remains non-functional.

Fixed it! I don't know why it only became a problem now, but when doing updates in the terminal for the past couple months, I would receive the message "Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'ozonos' from 'http://goodies.ozon-os.com/repo/22/': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried, disabling."

As this never seemed to have any effect of my ability to install/update things, I didn't think anything of it, and the only thing from the repository I had was Fedy so I didn't concern myself too much. It turns out though that it recently began somehow blocking the other repositories in Gnome Software though, because once I removed it (which I did through Gnome Software's Software Sources menu), everything became functional again.
