asked 2015-12-22 22:08:17 -0600

I downloaded Fedora-Live-Xfce-i686-23-10.iso from http://archive.fedoraproject.org/pub/... and on fedora 23 in terminal when checked sha256sum result was:

[hi@localhost Os]$ sha256sum Fedora-Live-Xfce-i686-23-10.iso 878462f2e462a937fbeb36d65e631fa2bef445af55ad83271093fd246000e01e

but in

http://archive.fedoraproject.org/pub/...

file it is

SHA256 (Fedora-Live-Xfce-i686-23-10.iso) = 9111100e47742bd62a4b3ecaf79b985921601ac1d7616bb5ea0d924b4cfda8ba

It just means your downloaded ISO is corrupted, probably just incomplete.

Try downloading it again and make sure downloading finishes without an error (you can try using wget or curl to see the progress and possible errors). Size of the iso should be 934281216 bytes.
