some files with subtitles are not readable

asked 2015-12-12 13:27:36 -0600

Hi Guys I'm new to fedora and currently running my laptop on Fedora 23. I have installed quite a number of fonts, but still I can not get cyrilic subtitle to ge readable. I have some files which are ok, but most of them are just unreadable symbols.

Can anyone help?

If you use VLC did you change the options in the subtitles section to Cyrillic? Like on this picture?
