Does the kmod-nvidia package work with F16?

I've recently updated to F16 and was considering the kmod-nvidia package from RPMFusion to get openGL support etc. Gnome shell works well enough with the stock drivers, but I'd like to play Fifa12 using Wine (it works!). I tried it two days back and didn't get a display on reboot. If anyone managed to get it working, please post the steps you followed.

OK for the nvidia driver in F16 verne, there is detailed discussion of glibc dependency problem and resolution(??) here Fedora 16 Nvidia

as far as I'm concerned, i've yum upgraded to verne, the nouveau drivers works for me just fine(for HD video play back and alien arena :)), i don't have experience of playing games through wine , so i really don't know about your reboot issue.

hope it helps.

does not work on Thinkpad T61 with Nvidia NVS140M(G86)

died on the Fedora LOGO screen after reboot.

so reboot and select Recovery Mod, yum remove the kmod-nvidia packages.
