Dia PDF Export Missing in Fedora 23 (Exists in Ubuntu)
Hi,
I am currently investigating the suitability of Fedora 23 for our workstations and laptops as a direct replacement for Ubuntu. (Predominately because Gnome Shell support is getting worse in Ubuntu).
We use Dia for producing maps with overlayed information and then export as a PDF to the end customer.
Under Ubuntu, we just click the export button and push it out as a Cairo (PDF) file but that format does not appear to be compiled into the Dia package for Fedora.
I totally understand that we could print to PDF via CUPS and we indeed make use of that currently but the quality of the PDF is awful in comparison.
So, the question I suppose is how do we go about getting Cairo PDF functionality compiled into the Fedora RPMs like they are in the Ubuntu DEB packages?

You should file an RFE bug, Trevor. If you have the expertise to compare compile options, you can investigate further by discovering the spec file from https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages and comparing it to what launchpad has for the ubuntu package.
Thank you.
