Hello Everyone, my name is Kavi and i have prior experience of RHCSA&RHCSE course, I'm also learning C programming and love blogging. I have already checked out the wiki pages about the fedora project(categories, roles etc) but I'm confused about all these options/new concepts. Which one should i choose? It would be great if you guys could give me some recommendations or just help me take that first step. PS: I love Linux and i also love learning new things.

Hello,

Well it will always depend on you interest, for instance if you are native on another languages you could start as translator, which is a easy way to start and learn more about Fedora. For the look of it you are interested on Sysadmin and coding sho you could start on infrastructure, you will need to apply for it on the Fedora devel email list as fi-aprentice there your will start open doors to learn. If you are interesting on promoting Fedora you can join the Ambassadors team many people start there now.

You can join all you can handle, best start slow and learn one them move to the next but keep in mind some may acquire responsibilities, packaging is an example you need to maintain your packages for some time.

I've thought about this before, but other than looking through the list of orphans what is a good way to find a package in need of the kind of attention I can give it?

Thanks for answering mate :) Yeah, i gave "fedora-review" tool a try and its pretty cool. I guess I'll have to learn more about "Package Guidelines" & "Packaging" in order to be able to manually review packages. Moreover, Is there any other better "Package Reviewer Tool" for beginners??
