fedora 17 does not start after last update

I have fedora installed and I was running postinstallerf tool, when i use the tune up option and restart fedora i can only see the fedora logo but i can not start entering password and using fedora.

How can I remove the last update in this conditon?.

That thread was almost a year old @Ihatewindows...

Considering F17 is end of life, i'd rather re-install F19.

If you can, try pressing CTRL+ALT+F2 and log in. Then type sudo yum downgrade, enter your password, and restart. If your system hasn't started up far enough that you can do this, you may have to reinstall.
