After installation proprietary nvidia driver (352.55) manually via installation script at boot doesn't appear bootsplash (plymouth). I have installed hot-dog theme and it's appear at reboot while stopping, but not at boot. Setting vga modes and others didn't help. After running kernel screen goes black and so on until the launch of Xorg. What can I do for repair?

You need to use nouveau driver and set the kernel boot option from nomodeset to modeset to use it. Good luck! But you will have to completely remove nvidia and the xorg config.

In fc22 too did not work, but I was not paying attention. After upgrading to 23 I decide to repair it. With nouveau working bootsplash (without nomodeset), but didn't show lightdm (gdm and gnome working properly). With nvidia lightdm and MATE works properly.
