Hi, recently I installed fedora 22 beside Win 7. Fedora works like a charm, but in grub if I select Windows, the computer almost immediatelly reboots (no, windows logo do not appear). Before installation of Fedora Windows worked normally. I have already tried to recreate grub.conf using grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg command, but it did not help. Have anybody an idea what might be wrong? Thanks

Try selecting which OS to boot from your BIOS

You provided insufficient info. How many disks? Is this UEFI boot? etc. I would check if the windows installation is still working properly by restoring the boot recordm by booting from the windows installion dvd and in repair mode cmd:

bootrec /fixmbr

Naturally, you would have to read how to restore grub afterwards. If windows is broken , and you will have to reinstall it anyway, I suggest to disable UEFI in BIOS. I had lots of problems with UEFI broken and unrestoreable. If you have separate disks for windows and linux, which is optimal, especially for windows updates (some of them quit with error if you have dual boot detected), you may switch the boot disk in BIOS to the windows disk. You don't need to restore mbr in that case. Hope these hints help
