Hi, I'm missing the Gnome2 GUI to configure startup applications... is there any way to do that with Gnome3? I've searched the F16 repos, but I couldn't find anything.

Thanks! just another F newbie :P

Run gnome-session-properties. Also see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=702478

I couldn't figure out how to add a working icon for it under System Settings, so I ended up adding an icon for it under Applications > System Tools. To do this, I created the file /usr/share/applications/gnome-startup-programs.desktop with the following content:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Startup Programs
Comment=Configure applications that will be started upon logging in to GNOME
Exec=gnome-session-properties
Icon=gnome-panel-window-list
Terminal=false
Type=Application
StartupNotify=true
Categories=GNOME;GTK;System;
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Unity;
X-GNOME-Keywords=Startup;Automatic;
X-Desktop-File-Install-Version=0.18
