How do I include Scientific Linux repo to my Fedora 22 ?

Hi! This is my first question at this community. Secondly, I am newbie at Red Hat based distros. I know that both SL6 and Fedora use rpm packages. Since I encountered some dependencies problem compiling some software from source, I'm wondering if there is a way to install SL6 rpm on f22 just from dnf. Any clarification would be very appreciated. Cheers,

You should not do that if you do you may have lots of duplicated libraries and mess your system. If there is a package that you need an it is not in Fedora let us know which one is to see if it is on Fedora or maybe on Corp

I need to install some MC packages: lhapdf, GENIE, pythia6, root. F22 Scientific already provides root v5 with pythia8 enabled but I need pythia6. My BIG problem is on lhapdf since I can't compile any version of it. The latest version requiring lib boost is not yet supported by GENIE so I downloaded previous release lhapdf 5.9.0.

I wanna show the compile log but how ?

since it is broken when compilin lhapdf why not try to install python-lhapdf on fedora also install lhapdf-devel if you have not installed it.

Problem solved! no need to install additional repository. Fedora provides lhapdf and more! Thank you aeperezt, I didn't check that before you told me. When I think about the time I spent to compile it! Love to be here.
