Google chrome doesn`t install on my fedora box.

Run the following in a terminal to import the Google pgp key:

rpm --import https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub

Then install the local rpm. That should do the trick.

But it would be much better to add the Google repo so you can get updates automatically.

Create a file named: /etc/yum.repo.d/google.repo with the following:

[google-chrome]
name=google-chrome - 64-bit
baseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub

Then in a terminal window:

yum install google-chrome

sudo yum localinstall --nogpgcheck google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm

you would also need lsb package as a depend that will installed belong to google-chrome installation

Yes and no. You want the copr repo and you have to enable it by hand. Nevermind the normal method for chromium, its broken and putting in the google key as you said, causes it to break in places.The documentation is broken and points to a local non-existant file.

The google variant you can install in a few steps from ifnottruethenfalse website, which is where the chromium key originally pointed from.As you said, it has been updated. The instructions given there, should otherwise work.
