During my last boots I am experiencing this error message:

Could not create ICE listening socket:
Cannot establish any listening sockets

It shows in a graphical window immediately before the fedora 16 login screen. It just wait forever until I press the only "OK" available button.

Is there any way to fix this?

Go into console mode (Ctrl-Alt-any function key), log in as root, and then remove the temporary X11, ICE, and X lock files:

rm -r /tmp/.X11-unix /tmp/.ICE-unix /tmp/.X0-lock
